The importance of child-rearing

On Tuesday, mothers recognized for their outstanding contribution in raising children were presented with Orders of Merit of the Republic of Poland by President Andrzej Duda. Minister Elżbieta Rafalska took part in the ceremony held in the Presidential Palace.

Minister Elżbieta Rafalska stressed that the government appreciates Polish families by implementing, among other things, Family 500+ programme. It was important for us to acknowledge large families which for many years were underestimated and often stigmatized. I wish you all that family becomes the most beloved and appreciated institution, said Minister Rafalska.

Krystyna ŁUKANOWSKA and Grażyna NELEC has been awarded with the Gold Cross of Merit.

Irena BYLICKA, Bożena PIETRAS and Maria SZKODZIŃSKA has been awarded with the Silver Cross of Merit.
