Meeting with the Minister of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China

Between 21 and 24 April 2016, Mr Li Liguo, Minister of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China (MCA), paid a visit to Poland. Its goal is to develop bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy and the MCA, including further involvement of both sides in the EU-China Social Protection Reform Project.

The MFLSP is conducting bilateral cooperation with the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs under the 2013 Cooperation Agreement. During the visit, an Executive Agreement, which will allow strengthening cooperation between the ministries and complement the Cooperation Agreement, was signed.

During the visit to Poland, delegation from the MCA will also make a study visit at the Senior House – WIGOR in Błonie and the Social Assistance Centre in the Wola district of the Capital City of Warsaw, as well as learn solutions in the field of social assistance in Poland at the regional level by visiting Krakow.
