Cooperation of the Ministry of Family with the World Bank

On 30 June, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska met with the World Bank team to discuss cooperation opportunities. The Bank delegation was lead by Arup Banerji, Country Director for Operational Engagement in the EU Member States. Secretary of State Stanisław Szwed also took part in the talks.

Potential areas of involvement of the World Bank include: labour market regulations, unemployed activation and social expenditure and social inclusion, with particular emphasis on the outcomes of the “Family 500 plus” programme.
