On 29 June this year, another meeting of the Visegrad Group took place in the Polish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.
The meeting was chaired by Secretary of State Stanisław Szwed. The participants confirmed their willingness to continue close cooperation on the draft revision of Directive 96/71/EC on the posting of workers. They also exchanged views on the European Pillar of Social Rights.
It was agreed that the Visegrad Group would step up efforts to reach a compromise proposal on the posting of workers and a common position on the Pillar until 19 July, if possible.
