Elżbieta Rafalska, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy received the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary

 The Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary  was awarded to Minister Elżbieta Rafalska in recognition of her efforts to strengthen and develop Hungarian-Polish relations in the area of family and social policy.  The award ceremony took place in the Hungarian Embassy in the presence of Katalin Novak, Secretary of State for the family and youth in the Ministry of Human Resources of Hungary.

 

Minister Novak underlined that both Poles and Hungarians believe that family is  the foundation of the society.  "We've been working on making the family as strong as possible. The main priority of Minister Rafalska is to improve the situation of Polish families, and we already see the effects of that work "said Deputy Minister Novak.

 

Minister Elżbieta Rafalska reminded that Hungary is “a reference point for Poland as a nation that has first paved the way for a certain view of the family policy –policy which base on values, foundation, and identity."
