On 26 April, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska met with Michel Servoz, Director-General of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, in the office of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. Secretary of State Stanisław Szwed and Undersecretary of State Renata Szczęch also participated in the talks.
The main topic of the meeting was employment and social aspects of the Responsible Development Plan and the government's assumptions about stimulating economic growth from the point of view of the MFLSP.
Minister Rafalska presented the implementation of recommendations of the Council of the European Union for individual countries concerning the fight against labour market segmentation, in particular with regard to limiting the use of civil law contracts, measures to combat skills mismatches in the labour market, and adjustment of pension systems for farmers and miners to pension systems for other professional groups. She also informed about the assumptions of amendments to the Labour Code.
