Secretary of State, Stanisław Szwed, met with representatives of the Committee on Health, Labour and Welfare of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Parliament.
The subject of talks were the planned and adopted regulations in the field of family and employment policy. Currently, Japan is planning measures to improve the demographic situation – also based on experience and achievements of other countries.
The Japanese side was particularly interested in the “Family 500 plus” programme. Deputy Minister Stanisław Szwed pointed out that the programme has three main objectives: the
pro-natalistic objective, investment in human capital and reduction of poverty among the youngest.
