The Ministers discussed possible bilateral cooperation, the exchange of good practice and experience in the fields of social, family, employment and retirement system.
The topic of short-term migration was also discussed. The Georgian side is implementing the IOM Project entitled “Short-term economic migration of Georgians to Poland and Estonia,” the aim of which is to prepare a framework of bilateral cooperation, facilitating the recruitment of workers from Georgia in Poland and Estonia. At the same time, the project promotes effective job placement, development of skills of migrant workers, protection of worker and human rights.
The Ministers agreed to sign an agreement between the Ministries, which will provide a framework for development of further cooperation.
