Meeting of the Visegrad Group

The meeting of ministers for labour and social policy of the Visegrad Group countries took place in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. The host of the meeting was Elżbieta Rafalska, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

This was the first event related to employment and social affairs during the current Polish Presidency of the Visegrad Group.

The talks focused primarily on current challenges in the European arena and measures taken in individual countries in the field of family policy, social policy and employment.

The ministers stressed the need for close cooperation in the face of new challenges and threats facing the countries of our region. The need for on-going consultation at the working level was also pointed out.
