Minister Elżbieta Rafalska said during the press briefing at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister that the Good Start programme was created because investment in education of Polish children is extremely important.
4.6 million children, including children in foster care, will be able to benefit from the Good Start programme. Minister Rafalska reminded that in order to receive the benefit an application must be submitted.
I think that we constantly need to appreciate the investment in education, which gives unique opportunities for the future. Good Start programme gives the opportunity to take a school starter kit for those Polish students who will start the upcoming school year added Minister Rafalska.
A benefit of 300 PLN net paid in a single instalment may be received by students starting the school year up to the age of 20 or up to 24 for people with disabilities.
Applications for the benefit can be submitted at the same places as those for the Family 500+ programme. The online application will start on July 1st through the empatia.mrpips.gov.pl portal and through e-banking.
