Nationwide Review of Seniors’ Creative Activity in Skwierzyna opened by Minister Rafalska

Minister Rafalska opened 1st Nationwide Review of Seniors’ Creative Activity in Skwierzyna. During the unique event 150 charges of facilities for elderly people presented their talents.

The Nationwide Review of Seniors’ Creative Activity from Day Care Centres in Skwierzyna is the first such event in Poland. During this year's edition of the Review, which took place in the hospitable interiors of the Skwierzyński Cultural Centre, 150 residents of Senior+ Day Care Centres from three provinces: lubuskie, wielkopolskie and zachodniopomorskie presented their talents.

I am very pleased to participate in this unique event. But what I am especially happy is that at the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy efforts towards seniors are particularly important said Minister Elżbieta Rafalska.

Minister Rafalska pointed out that the goal for all actions of Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy is always the same. Which is to ensure a high standard of living for seniors especially when it comes to healthy life expectancy and independence, as well as dignified help appropriate to the loss of independence.
