The inter-ministerial body for development of solutions to improve the situation of people with disabilities and their family members was created. Prime Minister Beata Szydło signed the ordinance on its establishment on August 29 this year.
The body is an auxiliary organ of the Council of Ministers, chaired by the Government Plenipotentiary for Disabled People. It is composed of representatives of the ministries of health, education, family, finance, infrastructure, culture, education, agriculture, sport, justice, the interior and administration.
Tasks of the body include production of analysis of the current situation of people with disabilities and their family members and development of comprehensive solutions to improve their situation. The body is also to prepare proposals of legislative and systemic solutions to improve the situation of people with disabilities and their family members.
